Heat Your Pool With Solar Power
There is 'more than one way to skin a cat' - so the saying goes. Let's apply this to electricity and how it can be generated. The conventional method requires cables to be fed into your property. Their point of origin is usually a power station, but they will inevitably come in from an underground source or if you're unlucky enough to live in an area where this sophistication has yet to be achieved, from that ugly pole across the street that adds to the desecration of what ought to be an unspoilt skyline. If you are lucky enough to be the proud owner of a swimming pool or have just had one built, the cost of heating such a luxury is enormous.
Solar power maybe the answer here; and before you ask the question that is on everyone's lips - no, you don't need to live in a country that has hours of unbroken sunshine streaming down from the sky, day after day in order for it to function efficiently. Just ordinary run-of-the-mill daylight will suffice and the power that is generated during this time, can be stored and used when there is little or no light i.e. when you're tucked up in bed. There is an initial installation cost, naturally, but if you have a large property that is hungry for power - and heating a swimming pool will certainly speed up the rotation of that electric meter - then over time this type of system will inevitably pay for itself.
